Hello all. I have had my 22 Raptor for about 2 months. It has about 1300 miles on it and loving every minute of the truck.

Unfortunately, I have isolated a creak which is fairly constant to the center console cover/armrest. It is the one with the fold out work surface. Creaking occurs most of the time, but worse on bumpy roads. If I open the cover and shut it, it seems to stop for a few minutes before resuming. Anyone experienced this? Any solutions?

Thanks!

I don't have the work surface, but have a similar sound quite often. I think it's the rubber bumpers on the lid. Only does it when my arm is resting on the lid too. Been meaning to put some silicone spray on them to see if that solves it. Similar to you, if I open the lid and rub my finger on the bumper, it goes away for a while.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your F-150 concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

HI All
Did anyone find a solution to the creaking noise from arm rest with work surface ? My 22 XLT with 22k miles has been making this creak noise and it is annoying.
Also the center storage lid latch is super free. I mean once you open it , it just drops and closes. Wish there was a way to add some delay to the closing.
Please let me know if any solution to this issue... Thanks

For that issue, people sometimes stick a coin in the spring to give it more tension:

The creaking on my truck eventually stopped after another thousand miles or so. Not sure what that was about, but I’m glad it’s gone. I have seen some mods to the spring, including the coin, and other forms and maybe on YouTube that address the spring tension.
