Hello dudes! I have a 2021 Powerboost Platinum and have a question.

I bought KSP leveling picks 2.5” (link below) and a local shop said it would make my truck go crazy with warning lights, mess up blue cruise. They told me it needed a specific kit which is $2,200!
I feel like this is a total scam but is there any truth to this? Thanks yall!

Had a 2” pro comp spacer kit installed at dealer. No issues. No lights and BC works the same as before.

They are probably trying to upsell you a nice set of coilovers if I had to guess. No issues with any type of leveling kit, literally hundreds of members on here running them with 0 issues.

Yep, scammers, avoid that shop like the plague! I've got the same kit on 2023 PB XLT with blue cruise,! 2 year's and 33,000 kms later and no crazy warning lights!

There is no one kit required. There are many of us who have had various lifts without issue, but some have had problems with various truck functions (camera alignment) and of course wheel alignment with some. They are not necessarily scammers as they may have had a bad experience with a set like yours and a good experience with their recommended kit, maybe even due to other factors, but try another shop.

2.5” pucks on my 2025 Lariat. No issues. Cameras, blue cruise, etc all work perfectly and didn’t require any calibration. The only thing I can think of is if your truck has the CCD suspension. That is truly a different setup. If not, you can install pucks all day long with no problem.
