Yesterday I decided to use the rear truck bed generator. Was a nice day, had garage door open, temperature about 55˚. Started the 2024 Powerboost up it ran for about 5 minutes and the truck shut its self off while I used the power tool, nice! Later I noticed this puddle of water, ok condensation from the exhaust. I’m thinking man thats a lot of moisture. Now I’m wondering if a guy should drill a small weep hole in the muffler or not?

There should be a drain hole already. With the truck sitting on level ground, the muffler has a slight tilt to the back for drainage of said moisture.

Yup same here....nothing to worry about excess water will just get pushed out the tailpipe. Catalytic converters just doing thier job turning exhaust fumes into water vapor.

There is a drain hole and that is normal. Also, this has been discussed on this forum multiple times, use the search

Didn’t realize the factory muffler had a drain/weep hole.
Thank you, everyone for your input.
