Hello All--I am new to the group, but have the exact same issue with my '22 Roush F150 Supercharged. After I execute a right hand turn, I press the accelerator and nothing happens. I try pressing it to the floor and still nothing happens--no increase in RPM, no forward movement--just a dead pedal. It's at my local Ford dealership now to be looked at.

3.5 PowerBoost.
I occasionally get a complete power loss when making a right turn. It usually happens about half way through the turn. I mash the gas pedal and nothing happens.
I have an appointment to get it in. Just waiting for the loaner vehicles to start building back up.
Have you gotten this issue resolved? Mine is doing the exact same thing. Doesn't happen all the time but probably at least once a day. Left or right turn doesn't matter. Slow down to make a turn soon as I try to accelerate out of the turn it just stalls. I can pump the gas pedal or mash it down to the floor and no response. After about 3 to 5 seconds it catches and goes. 2021 f150 limited powerboost engine.

I have had this issue since new in April 2022. @Jesse-Infotainment suggested it might be due to a faulty 12V battery, as the steering motor is a pretty significant load. I've thought about changing my battery out, but I've been too cheap/lazy.

I've had this happen in both my 2020 Ranger and 2022 F150 PowerBoost. I do think it's traction control / advancetrac kicking in, though a bit too soon and too aggressively.

I generally drive with TC off, but AdvanceTrac still enabled which lessens it from happening.

I could see that but mine just started doing it. I have 74,000 miles now. It's never did it for the first year and a half I had it.

Did you ever figure out what the problem was? Mine is doing the same thing. Ford can't duplicate the problem

It’s definitely wasn’t the traction control. My truck ended up sitting at the dealership for 3 months while the techs and Ford engineers chased the problem. They found a corroded wire in one of the plugs. Kind of strange considering the truck was just over a year old at the time. Ford ended up giving me the 100,000 mile premium extended warranty instead of them buying this POS back under the lemon law.
Either way, it stopped for a while and seems to be starting back up again. I’m regretting not taking the buyback……

I bought a used 2022 Powerboost F150 about six months ago. This is my first truck, first Ford...will now be my last after dealing with the loss of acceleration constantly and in and out of a large Ford dealership for days/weeks at a time with no resolution. I found out today that the truck's service history from Canada showed a dead pedal multiple times for service with no resolution. THEN I buy a $60,000 truck with a known dead acceleration issue and put my family's safety at risk after having a rock-solid Toyota for 10 years. This is EXACTLY what I feared buying a Ford, I stray away one time, spend a fortune on a beautiful truck that can't even make right hand turns without losing complete acceleration 5-10 seconds at a time. Just long enough for a head-on collision or someone to rear-end us. I can't wait to speak with the sales manager about selling me a truck with a KNOWN safety defect. What's even worse is that Ford absolutely KNOWS this is a major issue and is willing to let people put their family's at risk instead of figuring out a fix. Not only that but even though the issue started right after I bought it, Ford is trying to deny the buyback!!! I can't want to send them the paperwork I received from the dealer showing the issue was not even fixed before I bought this piece of garbage. On top of this, I get to hear all my neighbors with GMC's, Chevy's, Toyota trucks constantly heckle me for buying a lemon Ford. That's honestly the worst part, it's the embarrassment of driving it around and then having a loaner in my driveway so they can heckle me, I'm so sick of it!
