Cold weather noise

I have the 3.5 EB and wondering if anyone has noticed a cold weather whine when it gets below 10 degrees F. I'm thinking it's a tranny whine in 1st and maybe 2nd gear. It goes away pretty quick but does happen even using remote start for 5-8 minutes.

i know this was the coldest morning yet here in VA (15°) and it almost seemed as if the transmission was slipping. i was driving 47mph in 9th gear and was above 2000rpm which seemed off. seemed off for about 5-10 minutes even though i remote started it for about 5min before leaviing work. noticed in my 35 min drive it never fully warmed up. this afternoon i noticed at 47mph in 9th gear i was around 1300rpm
no noticeable whine though

IDK what that is about. Maybe the tranny torque converter doesn't fully lock up until a particular engine temperature?

The issue I'm experiencing I suspect is probably normal in my climate where temperatures may go down to 40 below.

I haven't had a chance to drive my new truck in the cold yet as live in SFL now but on my old truck with the 6r80 the transmission would definitely slip more in cold weather until the trans temp came up. I assume it was the computer slipping the TC more to warm up the fluid more quickly. I never had any transmission issues with that truck so I feel safe saying it's normal behavior.
