Stupid question as I'm trying to figure out my MPG issues...
Climate control set to 66 degrees but I am not using auto mode.
Does the AC compressor kick on once the temp needs to start to cool? For instance, I drive to work in the morning and it's cold. It's heating for most of the trip and then tapers off. On the way home, it's sunny, truck is dark colored, interior is black, and you feel it blowing cold. Is it supplying fresh air from outside or using the AC compressor?
