When taking delivery what are you all checking on the vehicle after its been sitting for so long?

I would check tires, all fluids, make sure you have a good battery, I’ve heard they have been putting in the 600 instead of the 800 for the battery which is specked for the powerboost. Look for scratches and equal gaps between all panels. I’ve also heard in earlier threads that they don’t seat all the fuses down always. I know there is more just can’t think of all of them

It’s official! I am now built! I know they could have put a model t together faster but I am stoked. Changed the poll?

Awesome! Just got home from the dealer. As I drove away I had two thoughts:

1 - I really wish I had a heated steering wheel.
2- I have “survivors guilt” for taking this home before Blackout has been built.
Glad to hear it is built and I have a good feeling about shipping quick!

Your number 1 above just confirmed why I am holding out and not buying one off the lot. Everyone I find on the lot has the heated steering wheel removed. If I am spending $70k, I am getting a heated steering wheel and not a $140 credit for them deleting it. It is either too cold in the winters in the Midwest or I am getting really soft.

Just checked and still at 954 modules and waiting.

Unfortunately my garage isn’t long enough to fit my truck in it, so she’ll have to brave the PNW weather. Seriously considering a ceramic coating. Anyone have an opinion on it?

This is the first brand new vehicle (beside motorcycles which are exponentially cheaper) I’ve bought myself, so I felt the 70k+ price tag was a deal especially since I passed on the raptor because I wanted more towing capability. But if the 5 years ago Chuck saw the price tag on this, he’d have a heart attack

Im going for the ceramic coat. I have a black truck so you'll be able to see every scratch. Company Im going through will do touch up every year when it comes in for inspection. 3 year package and will renew after that.
