I got a shocking call from dealer yesterday. Windshield wiper motor part came in and truck was ready. Now sitting in my driveway. They had the part delivered and installed in four days which does not seem possible considering the rest of this process. Journey was 305 days from order to my...
I guess I get to join the next club you guys started. After ten months my truck made it to my local dealer only for them to call me today and tell me I can't have it until the windshield wiper issue is fixed. Going to check it out in the morning and get more details as to when that will be.
All I have done since my truck shipped is look at tonneau covers and I can’t make up my mind. I don’t want a cheap soft roll up. It is driving me crazy. I can’t decide.
Got an email from Tarita at Ford today. She told me my truck showed on chip hold with January 14-20th as dates. I told her Ford sent me an email last week saying it shipped. Waiting to hear back.
I guess I need to call and track the rail car Ford chat gave me now and see if it actually shipped...
Chat just told me Canadian National Railway and gave me a rail car number. That seems promising. Will have to go back and find the tracking information on here.
This data is interesting. @F150 hopefull ordered his truck 7 months after my order date and it was built a month before mine. Same with a few others. I would love to see the logic or lack of behind what truck gets the chips as they come in.
Good luck on shipping and have a safe New Years.
Sorry Blackout, entered my data and took your title. I was super excited to go from built to shipped in 24 hours but this thread is making me rethink my excitement.
