Try this number. The person I talked to had more info than any one I have talked to at Ford

800-334 4375
Voice prompt, Customer Representative, when prompted, press #2 for SUV/Truck
Make sure you have your vin ready. The lady looked at both my trucks. One is at Flatrock, Ramp 51 on a train. The other is in Dearborn Built and waiting to get on a train
I called the number and talked to Kayla. My truck is officially in chip hold. I have an estimated delivery date of 10 Jan 23. She says I will more than likely receive another later date.

Update to the the options on the call. Say Customer Representative, press #1 for F-Series/Ranger. Tell the representative you want to track your order. Have your VIN ready.

I don’t know what to do……ahh! It’s here. Crazy. No shipping notification. Even the dealer says in the system it still shows awaiting shipping.

I hope you still find it humorous when your truck does finally get delivered -- soon.
I will always find it humorous. It’s all good. I’m not the angry type. Life is too short especially if you are waiting for your truck?

Honestly, you should be commended for the commitment. There is zero chance I would still be waiting and probably would have bought another brand just because.

Dang.

Patience grasshopper. That Raptor will be a wonderful ride. Not to mention all the price increases you avoided by waiting the length of time that we did.

I am now looking at a universe of several 2022 and 2023 trucks to purchase. None match what I ordered and considering all the trade offs is KILLING me.

Stick to the powerboost? Eco Boost? Give up BAP? No interior work surface? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

What to do, what to do. Lariat / KR / Platinum. WHAT ARE YOUR MUST HAVES??

My must haves were Powerboost, 7.2k gen (power my house during outages), Sport (color bumpers), BAP (to get rid of the red), a color (not some type of neutral but they do look nice), interior work surface, SCREW (interior space lets me have a 5.5' bed with 145" wheelbase), 4x4 with 4A, back up tow technology, 360 cam, heated and ventilated seats. My only drawback with this truck was the lack of a proper digital rearview mirror. I ordered a Lariat with all this from Granger.

I liked the full function seats of the King Ranch and Carmelo interior when I was considering but in the end I did not spring the extra money for the KR just to get those seats. Good thing too because they were deleted and I would have probably cancelled and reordered.

Even though I have waited a long time for this truck I am getting exactly what I wanted in what I hope will be final truck I buy in my life. This should get me to 75 and although I hope to live longer than that, I might be done with truck stuff by then.

One great thing I look at about waiting this long is the price protection. With all the price increases I will end up paying about $60-$61k for a truck with a MSRP of $73k. Now Ford upped the ESP years to 10 (which I wanted all along) and this was the best wait I ever had. I was not in need of a new truck fast so YMMV.
