Even though I am getting a MY23 I started the process on 5/11 with a MY22 that was canceled. At this point I think I am happy that it was canceled as my MY23 is progressing nicely. Just stuck in shipping purgatory like everyone else.

So I’ve heard (silently cries). Although being “in production” for four months was pretty rough. Happy to finally be “built” and waiting on shipment.

At least you're getting updates. Mine still shows in production, but vvr has it released in KC waiting to be trucked to Granger!

A guy in my neighborhood had a truck delivered with no badges and I actually like the look with the black fillers on his white truck with the black package.

Currently 4 months in production status with no meaningful updates from Ford. Just a bunch of we are sorry emails that give no details.

In other news I placed a reservation for a Rivian R1T a few months before I ordered the F-150 in February. Looks like I can take delivery of the Rivian this month if I want. I am leaning towards just giving up on the F-150 as I don't really trust the reliability of a truck that has sat in a field for 6 months partially built.

I thought I was going to have the F-150 for 2+ years before Rivian rang as they seemed to be backlogged. Since my reservation date was before the price changes the cost of the two trucks is about the same...
