Chip hold My22 & My23

I have been on chip hold since August. Ordered in November of 2021. It's a Platinum PB hybrid. I stopped tracking my truck for a little but checked-in with the chat today and I had a new update. They said it was returned from offsite and awaiting shipment with an ETA of 11/19 but still on a chip hold. The update was made on 11/11. I originally had 984 modules and then jumped to 1002 and now as of today I have 1824. What does this mean and is my truck finally coming? Anyone have something similar? I don't know what to know anymore...Thoughts?

I am in the same situation, I was built since 0ct,27 with 908 modules , waiting for shipping, and today I switch to 1500 modules? I think they add missing modules before to ship ?

My truck just got to the final railyard and it still only has 1065 according to the Motorcraft site.

Looks like mine missed yet another train towards Granger. Tomorrow will be 40 days Awaiting Shipment. At this point I’m guessing that means there is something wrong with it.

Mine keeps missing that train since it was shipped almost 2 months ago. Still stuck in Dearborn.

Congrats! I hope to have an email soon too. With that said previously chat has been giving me ship date ranges. Then last week they started giving me a specific ship date, and not the range. I hoped this was a good sign.

Yesterday they are now giving me a delivery date. Dec 1. I asked if that was just another ship date and she said she did not know but it is showing as a delivery date as opposed to the ship date it was giving earlier.

Still no email but I am holding on to this small crumb of hope.

It very well still could be January, but at least I know they actually put wheels on a frame for me!

Well, I'm done. I've been lurking on this thread since about late August. Initially I ordered a 2022 F-150 Lariat 502A in early May and was told it would be somewhere around 8-12 weeks, with 16-weeks being the longest until it got here. I thought it was perfect timing, because my wife was pregnant and her due date was set somewhere around that time. All those time periods, and then some have come and gone, and now my son is about to be 4-Months old next week.

To keep my options open I reached out to a local Toyota dealership in the beginning of November and 3-weeks later I had the exact model in the color, and trim that I wanted. So I ended up getting a 2023 Toyota 4Runner. It's not quite as big or as nice the truck I had custom ordered. Though it sure was a whole hell of a lot cheaper.

Ultimately I would've loved to get the Ford Truck, but I needed a vehicle like 3-months ago. This whole process has been absolute bullshit, and I commend those of you still waiting. Anyways, best of luck all, and I hope you get your vehicles soon.

Congrats! On the good note, you should be able to pass the 4Runner to your son when he gets his permit!

Finally got a built email from Ford. They estimate delivery between the 20th and 26th of December...We shall see.

Oddly enough, my liaison hasn't gotten any information to me about any of this.

I was just thinking about our wonderful liaisons. I have not heard from mine in a long time. She promised to keep me updated weekly, or was it weakly? Either way I hope you get yours before the 25th.

Ford really is using the sorting hat from Harry Potter to decide what trucks get built. This truck was just delivered to the twin cities recently. See the blend date and look at all the options for this one. No blue cruise though.

I don't know why ford is even building platinum. the only difference between a platinum and a fully loaded lariat are the seats, primarily. Oh and the added price for the badging, I guess. and the seats are a forced removed due to the chip shortage.

8/13/22 Blend and been in "production" since 8/15/22.

No real updates from Ford other than we are sorry etc. Not sure if I trust the finished truck to be delivered without issue as it has probably been sitting in a field for 6 months by the time it gets done.
