Chip hold My22 & My23

I just left my dealer, picked up my truck! Yep, my 2019 had some service done on it. So I decided to go give the sales manager the raspberries. I may be to easy going but have a great relationship with the dealer. She jumped right on her computer to check on the truck. She said nope it has not moved. She can actually see where it is parked, (a good part of town I hope) then she said they have not moved the delivery date. Nov 16. 8 days. I told her I'm not holding my breath. Her response, "Good cause I don't want it to be your last"
This is the first time though that I have ever been told of a projected delivery date. Hope springs eternal until that big bird flies overhead and drops its on my head, or the windshield of my new truck ?‍

They say its built. I've had several shipping estimate dates without any movement. Asbuilt only shows 947 modules.

I don't think it is built. I had 998 modules after they said it was "built" in September. last week when I got the "shipped" email all of a sudden I went from 998 models to over 1600 modules.

If it's on chip hold..... IT HASN'T BEEN PRODUCED! We will tell you it's been built so you don't buy something else.

I don't think it is built. I had 998 modules after they said it was "built" in September. last week when I got the "shipped" email all of a sudden I went from 998 models to over 1600 modules.

I don't think module count even matters. I'm at 1746 modules, and trucks still not built.

I think the module count was a bigger deal before the chip issue. Now you can have an entire truck ready to roll and only missing one chip get held up for months

They are still building 2022's at the KC plant until 11/17. That's Job#1 date for 2023's. Now when the 22's are finished after awaiting chip holds and delivery delays; that's anyone's guess.

Yea that’s where my head is at too. It’s already a horrible “investment”

One of the Dearborn plant workers said they are building both 2022 and 2023 models at the same time. I’m not sure how that works

So many things come into play that it is hard to say. Where you get it from and what you pay is the main drivers. From my Granger order, and after price increases, I will be able to sell it for far more than I am paying for it, and not drive it a day.

Supply and demand can change what was the "normal" way of looking at things.

So I just got new dates again. Been pushed back for chip hold to 11/18-11/24. This is getting out of hand. Just saw that someone has their my23 delivered to granger yesterday. What the hell

Well got a voice message from my liaison. Nothing earth shattering. Still shows 10/11 to 10/16 for chip hold lift. Believe when I see it.
