Being shipped means nothing. I was built on 9/27 and shipped few day later. My truck is still in Dearborn with zero progress. I keep getting the same bs ETA’s as I was getting in chip hold. Same sh.t different day

Obviously they have not perfected the navigation interface with the self driving mode to create a seamless delivery option.
Each day brings all of us one day closer. Closer to what is the question.

It took her almost 2 weeks and 3 emails to get the response I got.

So I have literally emailed everyone that I can get a email for. Well. I now have a regional manager on my truck. Do I think that’s going to change anything. Nope but I have hope that it will. Once again I know it’s just a bunch of words but the more people I can get to look at my situation the better. Here is what they had to say:

I checked into the status of your F-150. It is still on hold due to the chip shortage. I am trying to get a date from the plant on when parts are expected so it can be retrofit and on its way to you. Haven't been able to get that level of detail yet. I can only imagine your frustration. As you are probably aware, we have had supply issues with numerous parts impacting our truck plants. I have asked the plant to make this a priority. I wish I could give you a better answer.

I spoke to the owner of my dealership that I know through people and he said it’s the battery of the powerboost platform that is having shortages. Who knows. I didn’t want to question him. He did say that he will be contacting ford. Once again who knows. Zero updates and 89 days.

Not that this isn't an issue. However, I've got a 5.0 on order no ower boost no power on board and still on hold now almost 90 days.
