Couple of my buddies works at the plant and they confirmed July end - mid Sep production on power boosts, tremor and Raptors were hit with IP cluster shortages. Trucks are parked all over south east michigan. Good thing is that they have the clusters and badges and working their way thru the oldest waiting trucks. Looks like the wait could be anywhere from month to 2 months depending on what other parts the trucks missing.

Is that 1-2 months from now, or in just general from the blend date? That July-August blend that got hit is beyond that mark, but a bunch of September blends got through. I wonder how they are allocating parts, because I thought that the "in production" start was when they identify all the parts needed for the build, so it's interesting that there are several weeks still waiting. Do you know if they are ordering and waiting for more parts that are VIN specific, or do they get parts and just go pick trucks that need what they have?

1-2 months in general, they bring vehicles as the parts become available. If the units waiting for cluster, it’ll be brought back to plant otherwise they’ll fix it at the yard and ship from there. Micro chip is a general term used for any part shortage.

I’ll be that the 2 month hold Tuesday, 67 days in production today. My next status update is marked for 10-16Oct so I’ll be a little disappointed if I keep getting pushed out, but next week would be that 2 month timeframe if @Ford36 ’s sources are correct. Fingers crossed.

I am in the same boat. 72 days in production, 8/7 blend and 10-16 Oct Ford bullshit date.

I haven't received a email from Ford yet, but the tracker says "built". Ford Chat says the truck is still on chip hold and the estimated delivery is 28th October.

Update it took two days to go from built to shipped. I do feel guilty with the progress while there are so many that should get theirs before I do.
