That timeline is ridiculous. Not sure I would have been able to handle that wait. Have all PB been on hold that long?

Some of the production lengths are crazy.

I've been researching a new truck for 2 years now, but only decided to pull the trigger 3 months ago. I found this one as a dealer order, so my wait wasn't all that long. It was killing me tough.

I really wanted the contour seats as I use my trucks for long trips as well as everyday driver and this truck has them. Just hope everything is updated and working fine on it.

My truck is 3 hours from Kansas City via car, hopefully train is a bit shorter. No clue how long it will sit at the lot waiting on a semi ride to Granger.

I called Ford this morning for an update on my order as 9/30 was my expected delivery date. Ford provided me with my new ETA of Oct 3rd. Hearing that gave me a good laugh considering its three days after the target date of 9/30. Needless to say, I do not expect to see my truck anytime soon.

Don't trust movement or what has happened to other people, nothing matters anymore until it actually shows up at the dealer its all just a game. 11 months today, I know others are 12+ months. Full numbness set in a while ago.

Yeah. Looks like I turned in to awaiting shipment about 6 hours ago. Tracker is showing built but no email from Ford.

So I just spoke with the chat to verify if I’m fully built and not missing more parts/chips. Here’s their response:

Awaiting Shipment and currently located in Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI with an ETA of Oct-13-2022 with a secondary status Micro Chip At Plant On Hold status.

Sounds like back to the chip hold…. What a circus

Haha, for sure tired that. Said it may be possible at it's last rail stop (guessing KC) but not the plant. They told me the unions have too many checks and balances for that to happen.
I think they should adopt that though, so many people would take them up on that, especially if they drop the ridiculous $1800 delivery fee.

I would love to have it today, but I've had my current truck 10.5 years. I think I can hold out a few more weeks if needed.

Same! I keep having minor anxiety attacks that some rodent will have chewed on my cables while the truck has been sitting in the lot but I gotta remember that's like 1 out of every 5k+ trucks
