So, my '22 Powerboost (2k miles) started acting strangely last week. Propower onboard kept flashing up on the screen as unavailable. I didn't think much of it, other than I said, well, Monday I'll go to the dealership.
Wednesday or Thursday, I noticed it didn't seem to go into full electric much. Then when I turned power off after stoping, the fan kept going for about 10-20 seconds at a high rate of speed.
Then Saturday, I was driving, all of a sudden the engine temp spiked. 250 degrees. Gave a warning that power was limiting to cool off engine. I immediately pulled over (at a bar for a beer while scratching my head) and called the dealership (again to talk to someone). I put 48 oz of water into the main coolant tank. Larger of the two, smaller is for the hybrid battery. When I spoke to service manager Saturday he said this would be ok until I could bring it in Monday.
Brought in today, got a call a few hours later. Turns out heat exchanger is cracked and dumping the fluid. No ETA on new one as it's backordered like EVERYTHING else.
Main point...check your fluids, I didn't, now I'm worried about the rest of my engine.
