I was on my way home from picking up my truck and I received a check engine light. I had about a three hour home. Saw the following error message in ford pass so I continued home. Anyone else get this error?

Yup, I got the same on my new Lariat PB. Drove off the lot and noticed it came on. Turned around and brought it back. Dealer cleared the code and said it was nothing. Brought it in to a dealer closer to me today and said they ran a smoke test to find the leak and couldn't. Need it back next week to give it more of an effort! Did you figure it out?

I got the same code yesterday. Took it in this morning and the dealer just called. Bad O2 sensor on bank 2. They are ordering one and will replace.

I've had this as well since picking my truck up almost 2 weeks ago. I had it in for service, and a software update was applied that they said should take care of it, but then it came on again while driving home from the dealership. They were able to read the codes remotely as it's a 21, and had to consult Ford as to what the problem is. Ford directed them to order a couple of sensors and a new PCM module so when I bring it back in they'll have everything that may need replacing. Waiting for everything to arrive now. I really don't like getting in my new truck to see the CEL on every morning!

I know that dealers can see the check engine lights remotely now. I'm wondering how I could direct my dealer to see mine remotely so I don't have to being it in to get the code.

Update - Had my Powertrain Control Module replaced and the issue is gone, hopefully for good. They feel it was faulty from the factory.
