Microchip shortage? I get it... there are very complex supply chains that take months to move.

Inability to update your website, is honestly just asinine. Even if everyone is still working from home, this is work that can be done from home.

I don’t understand, if they don’t have some to do the technical side, why didn’t they keep the tracker working?? Why did they flip us to a tracker that doesn’t even work and keep us hanging?

I think everyone is forgetting that Ford is treat us all like mushrooms. Ordered July 15th 2021 and built Jan 11th 2022 only to sit and wait for a chip. Meanwhile they where making them on the line with chips up till this week of shutdown. This will be my last ford just for sheer handeling of this situation and customer service.

Well, it appears the Canadian tracking site is back up and running......

Unfortunately, it still says, "This vehicle is not yet available in order tracking at this time, please check back later ."

Yep. No excuse for this or the order tracker that doesn't seem to work for Canadian orders...

Yes, it's back up and running. But I was previously able to track my order on shop.ford.com. Now I'm getting the same "This vehicle is not yet available in order tracking at this time, please check back later ." as mentioned above on shop.ford.ca. Not available in order tracking? Well it was Feb 1st?

It is 326 days for me waiting ?. Paid $2000 down payment Mar 30/2021 ? If I didn’t already have an F150 would have been really pissed off.

Me too. Ordered March 31st 2021 from Eastcourt. Not even a VIN. I already have the thing sold to someone else if it actually ever shows up. To hell with ford and that crappy dealer.

yea eastcourt way oversold allotment. Even more than my dealer. I think they sold like 300 trucks last March. Hence the crazy waits.

I spoke with East Court back in August. Didn't get a good vibe from the sales guy. Wouldn't talk numbers over the phone, even though I told him what I wanted to pay and to just tell me yes you can or no you can't. He was adamant that I come in and speak with him and his manager. I told him it was an hour drive for me, one way, and I wasn't going to come in for them to not accept my offer.

Same thing with Yonge Steeles. Everyone else I spoke with was more than willing to talk numbers over the phone.

I've learned from this process that there are drawbacks to dealing with high volume dealers.

FWIW, according to Cassens, both East Court and Yonge Steeles have each received just one shipment in 2022. I'm not sure if there is another trucking company that delivers to them from Ford. But for being high volume dealers, they don't receive a high volume of shipments.

My 2021 is built. Has been for over 2 months. They just keep pushing the delivery back after I was assured the pissed off truckers wouldn’t delay it.

Just an fyi the build tracker works for other models aside from the f-150. For example the explorer below so the tracker functions just not for f150s
