Can Someone Identify This Component?

I have a 2022 Lariat SCAB, 6.5' bed, 502A equipped truck. I was under it the other day, and came across this component, and I don't even have a clue as to what it is. Do I need to know? No. Just very curious! It is on the outside frame rail, driver's side, sort of between the middle and hinge side of the extended cab door. Any ideas?
