Little background on my set up for context

1. Kicker Key 200.4 (with plugnplay harness)
2. Front Door speakers (Kicker 3 way KS series 6x9) 47KSC69304
3. Rear Door speakers (Kicker 2 way CS series 6-3/4) 46CSC674
4. B&O pillars with factory tweeters
5. OEM upgrade kicker behind seat sub.
6. Center channel unplugged.
7. Soundsgoodstereo Blockoff Plates all 4 doors
8. Metric ton of sound dampening in door panels

Not running BI-AMP. Just powering all 4 channels like OEM but powered by the key.

My end goal here is to get the best possible sound throughout the whole cabin for rear passengers but obviously favoring the front stage.

OK enough rambling. I recently purchased some kicker .75 KS series tweeters and adaptors to get the B&O ones changed out to something better. I have been relatively happy so far with the setup other than the tweeters. They sound ok up to a point but I think one is blown already or damn near at this point. I was wondering if swapping the KS tweeters is going to be safe with the way things are wired now (3 ways on the same channel) and if this will likely be worth the effort of getting these tweeters to fit and re running DSP ETC.

I know BI amping and running components would be ideal but I am already fairly far down the current path and that would require some major expense and changes.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

@SoundsGoodStereo Shout out to these guys products! (also to anyone that does not know they have an awesome playlist on Apple music for testing!)

My set up is basically the same as yours just with different components. I am somewhat satisfied with the sound but believe in my heart that great sound is difficult at best in these trucks. Tweeters are simply to bright with any combo in my opinion and dampening them muddies the whole system.
My current setup is,
1. Alpine PDR-F50
2. Alpine R-S69C.2
3. Alpine R-S65.2
4. SGS Block offs in all 4 doors.
5. Tons of Boom Mat throughout the doors and back wall.
6. Center speaker disconnected.

I'm not running a sub since I feel this setup produces enough bass for my ears but I am pre wired for one. The inverter limits space available.

Ive tried Powerbass, Kickers and Morels and ended up with Alpines. I started with a Kicker Key, tried a Musway and again I’m back to an Alpine. To me the truck should sound much better but it just doesn’t seem to be as good as the parts would suggest?
To sum it up, I don’t have a good answer for you but I am waiting for someone to step up give a good answer to your post.

Using the KEY to Bi-amp may take more of a task, but far better output
It will drastically help imaging and powering them. Your missing out on the best part of the KEY amp is the self tuning. Set the front up, use radio power for rear doors.

Your in Tampa, Five Star Car Audio is close, they are also amazing like @SoundsGoodStereo if you need help close to help setup the DSP.

I wish my harness was configured that way but it’s not. I may have to look into rewiring it in the future. In the meantime do you think running the combo of 3 channel doors and the ks tweeters will be safe? I assume it will because it worked fine with the factory tweeters just don’t want to damage the new tweeters I bought.

Yes it will power like any smaller 50x4 amplifier.
Even using the 3 days in the door and dash will be fine.

Definitely similar set up. I am not usually a fan of loud subs but the small factory one creates some nice fill for the lower frequencies. The oem sub gets a lot of hate but it works great for my ears and style of music I consume.
