I remember Blue Laws in PA growing up outside of Philly. Stores would cover up the shelves of items that couldn't be purchased. Didn't realize it was still in effect for vehicles. Will need to keep that in mind when it's time go to Chapman Ford in Horsham PA - whenever my truck arrives.

For anyone who still needs it, here is the information for tracking a Norfolk Southern train if your truck is being transported by them and you have the NS railcar number

1-800-635-5768

Option 2 for intermodal, then option 2 for tracing.

You will need railcar number from your dealer. Use keypad to enter alpha characters and use # for quick entering. Use keypad to then enter numeric characters separately followed by # when prompted.

well that was frustrating. How do you get past the alphanumeric section on your keypad? I spoke "NOKL" and she returned "ALPH" so I tried it with the keypad but it grabbed numbers not letters.

At least I have a railcar number from the dealer and verified that I am not on a chip hold.

Hello all - I called Ford marketing yesterday and learned I have 2 private cash offers pending that expire on 4/04. If I hadn't called I wouldn't even know they existed, all thanks to this forum! I called my buyer and told him about it, he had no idea. Unreal. I don't know how much they are for, has anyone ever had one get extended somehow? My truck will not be here on or before 04/04.

That's actually okay. It took me by surprise the first time I called. Every time I said TTGX, it came back with something wrong. I don't understand - people from Philly don't have an accent! Then when I keyed in the letters it repeated the numbers and I hung up. The final time, I went with the flow and keyed the letters followed by # then keyed the numbers followed by # and pressed 1 when prompted to say it was correct. Viola - my railcar is sitting in the Conway PA rail yard as of yesterday morning.

Give it another try. I told myself I would only check twice a day - right! The railcar number is another one you will soon memorize along with lots of other numbers - your VIN, credit cards, wife's b-day, wedding anniversary, etc etc.

Make sure you are in a relatively quiet place too. When you go to enter the railcar number it's quite sensitive to any talking in the background.

either way, mine will be hauled to south Louisiana eventually. So it’s Norfolk by train to New Orleans and then trucked to the dealer via united road? I’m in Baton Rouge

Is it Birmingham? My dealer told me Birmingham takes forever to deliver trucks out. Mine is coming from Nashville tomorrow or Friday. They aren't unloading it from the railcar because of these storms rolling in...it's been sitting there since 5am this morning.

yeah it is birmingham but also my dealer told me this morning that he had another customers mach e come in yesterday that was scheduled for the last week of april.

Yeah mine is going to Terrebonne Ford in Houma.

Should be NS to New Orleans and trucked to Baton Rouge. It'll probably be United Road that transports your truck from New Orleans to Baton Rouge.

Thanks to Ralph's help I was able to figure out that my railcar is somehow in Princeton, IN right now. Which is a little concerning because there's literally nothing there. But at least it looks to have left the purgatory of New Boston, MI. Now let's pass the hat for Mixxfixx.
