Good luck!
Well, "in production" was showing 6/28...now showing 7/15, so hopefully that means it's actually being built.

Ordered my KR 601A on 1/13/24. Done 3/11, got VIN...but it was in Michigan sitting in parking lot due to quality issues, delivery date updated to 6 Apr, then nothing...then an update on 6/30 that only told me there was no update. Then given a delivery date of 19-25 July...that came and went, was told it is "at the carrier" but again on quality hold...and "pending update." No word, despite asking repeatedly, why it is being held.

The only silver lining is that my customer service and overall experience with Ford was so bad that I shorted Ford stock at ~$14 and bought it back a little above 9. Paid for nearly 1/2 my truck...if it ever comes.

I’ve chalked up QC holds as a @Ford Motor Company “black hole” of sorts. Once your vehicle is “off the line” you have a higher probability of winning the Powerball (subtle sarcasm) than pinpointing a delivery date, which is unfortunate for the amount of money we spend on these trucks.

I can build a modest center console boat for +\- the MSRP on my Lariat build. At least with the boat I have a direct line to the dealership who has a direct line to the manufacturer for transparent updates throughout the process. I can even visit the assembly line if planned in advance.

My blend date was 7/17 and I am currently in QC hold. I plan to put this aside for a bit and check back in with Granger around Columbus Day for an update. Any news in advance would be a ‘surprise’, which is unfortunate.

How did your situation work out? My F150 was build this week and had an estimated delivery date but was not in shipped status yet. Now the status looks like ordered with scheduled and build dates populated and no estimated delivery date

Hopefully this is good karma for you, but I truly have mentally put this aside since last visiting the site on 8/17. Your follow-up prompted me to check my tracker which updated yesterday to “built” with an estimated delivery window to Granger of 9/20 - 9/27.

Great news. You have waited a long time and I hope that it holds this time.
I went from order to scheduled to build ridiculously quick so I should just be a little more patient. I am just wondering why the hold up since it has been built. I waited over 2 years to be scheduled for a Bronco. I drove it a year and was hit on the highway and totaled.

Thanks! We pay a premium for these vehicles and when you see competitors with 25’s already on the lot you can’t help but scratch your head on why there are still build delays this late into the model year, particularly if it’s your personal order that’s delayed.

This forum was super informative in level setting my expectations on setting the bar low on the timing/transparency from Ford during the order—>delivery window. I did very well with the “set it and forget it” mentality up until my vehicle hit its blend date and the tracker went radio silent (Chip at Granger was able to confirm it was built, but on QC hold).

We’ll see if/when it actually ships. It’s been about 1.5 months since my blend date, others earlier on in the build cycle had to wait many months due to QC.

I will report back and hopefully be able to share some pictures of what at this point will most likely be an early October pick-up.

My estimated delivery updated today to 9/15-9/21. Looks like I will have to extend my current lease another month costing me additional money I didn’t plan on spending. I’m being hopeful and gonna wait till the last possible day of 9/5 to extend it tho. I’m gonna be really upset if I pay the extension and get a call a few days later that my truck is here. Honestly all I want to know is a realistic delivery date so I can plan accordingly. Instead they just keep stringing you along and depending on who you talk to you get a different answer. Keeping my fingers crossed
