Does anyone have any information regarding the delays going on? I understand there’s a supply issue blah blah but I ordered in October 2021! I also understand the black appearance package is late availability but I see plenty of builds similar to mine ordered this year already getting their truck. I get there’s allocations but wtf!

Lariat 502a, BAP, FX4, 5.0

Ordered - October 2021
Initial build date- May 13
Delayed multiple times not July 4th
I am in a somewhat similar situation. I ordered back in September 2021 - Lariat 502a, PB, with some stuff added on. Finally got built on 5/19 and is supposedly shipping now. I have no idea what specifically caused the delays. But it’s definitely frustrating.

What’s your trucks status?
Awaiting shipping since March 15th 2022. Plant hold. No one can tell me what it means but pretty sure it’s a shipping and or logistics issue

They told me today “Returned from Offsite Awaiting Shipment” but never received a built email. So I’m thinking that’s the next status it should go into between today and 6/4, the given eta

Plant hold is a quality hold. Something did not pass final inspection. Has nothing to do with shipping

I’m not sure I buy that. Cause it was awaiting shipping for about 3 weeks before it went on plant hold. I’d really just like a straight answer from ford. After 15 months I’m so done

Someone at Ford knows exactly what is going on with every vehicle in their system. Can you honestly believe that Ford does not have a disposition of every vehicle at their collective fingertips? They may not know when they are getting certain parts. Or it may just be that Ford will not reallocate parts scheduled for new trucks, to complete trucks on parts hold on the lots. Or it could be something really nefarious, like they pulled parts for Lightnings. Whatever it is, Ford must think that telling the truth about long delayed vehicles would be worse for them, than telling us nothing, since that is what they do now. That makes it abundantly clear to me that Ford has absolutely no Customer loyalty!
