Does anyone have any information regarding the delays going on? I understand there’s a supply issue blah blah but I ordered in October 2021! I also understand the black appearance package is late availability but I see plenty of builds similar to mine ordered this year already getting their truck. I get there’s allocations but wtf!

Lariat 502a, BAP, FX4, 5.0

Ordered - October 2021
Initial build date- May 13
Delayed multiple times not July 4th

October is a ridiculous amount of time not to have a truck considering I am seeing BAP ordered after yours get delivered on this forum. Maybe you could ask your dealer if any of your options are holding it up, as those seem to change week to week.

I have a similar build to yours, except with 3.5 EB. Ordered from a small dealer on 1/15 and looking to be built on June 6th

I did ask they said there is no holds or anything showing that it’s on Fords scheduling side

On May 15 I cancelled an OCT 2021 KR order. It hadn’t been scheduled and after 7 months I got tired of waiting. I pivoted to Platinum EB dealer order that has left Dearborn via Rail.

I spoke to a polite lady yesterday, who emphasized that she was calling me back from the Ford corporate offices on behalf of the Ford executives that I emailed about the ongoing delays. She gave me the exact same oft repeated lines that I have heard many times before. She said that she only can speak to what she sees in the system & the system currently shows a projected delivery date of 6/10/22 & that no other information is available.

I would have never thought that it would have been possible, but Ford has sucked the absolute last bit of excitement and enthusiasm, that I initially had, for this ordered vehicle, out of me. The delays do bother me, but not nearly as much as Ford’s overall indifference toward Customers. Do unto others, as you would have done unto you. I will always be indifferent to Ford from here on out. So much for Customer loyalty.

Someone at Ford knows what is going on with every vehicle in their system. Can you honestly believe that Ford does not have a disposition of every vehicle at their collective fingertips? They may not know when they are getting certain parts. Or it may just be that Ford will not reallocate parts scheduled for new trucks, to complete trucks on parts hold on the lots. Or it could be something really nefarious, like they pulled parts for Lightnings. Whatever it is, Ford must think that telling the truth about long delayed vehicles would be worse for them, than telling us nothing, since that is what they do now.

I think your right on the mark. I too believe that they‘ve reallocated parts for their Lightning model trucks. We don’t want to disappoint with the long awaited all electric vehicles. My truck has been partially built since early January and my newest ETA is now August 2nd.
