Would this hurt my velocity/pressure if I ran this exhaust set up? I'm ditching the 3 in and 3 out single set up and getting this set up from Borla. My main thing is I don't want to lose low end torque from going too big. My theory is that yes dual 2.25 may be bigger but it should have more pressure than the 3 inch because it's going from a 3 inch to a 2.25. Right or wrong?2.5 is the best set up for daily use, but they don't have 2.5 kits. (2015 ford f150 5.0)

Not worried about the sound since it's borla. They sound different in person.l than on video. I'm not worried about the sound more so just wondering if the set up will kill my exhaust velocity. In the video it states it's going from a 3 inch in the front into a y pipe and down to the tailpipes it's 2.25. I've have a full 3 inch catback and it killed my low rpm.

This is good to know. So you don't have issues overtaking a slower vehicle? Like now I have a carven catback and when I press the gas pedal a little hard it just makes noise and doesn't actually move like a V8 should. This was after the catback install no other mods besides a tune. I wonder if it's the design of my catback. I literally got the atak today and hope that I don't experience what I'm experiencing with carven

Retired and not looking. I am driving the wife crazy.
Remember your factory exhaust is 3" all the way through. I talked to Hennessy about the need to change to 2 1/2" dual exhaust with the Ford blower on it. He said the factory setup has plenty of capacity and addresses those issues you discuss. In other words, sound is all you are getting. Maybe a little low end loss.

If you're keeping the factory exhaust manifold, cats and tune, you won't notice a difference. You will get drone from that Borla kit though.

Yeah i just have a tune and exhaust just waiting to be put on. Definitely not tryna do headers or cat delete. It's a daily not a race truck.

My S-Type didn’t kill low end. Sounded great! I have factory dual setup now. The truck I had the Borla on got bought back by Ford!
