Trying to reset my BMS. I have a DTC in the BCM related to TPMS because I used Forscan to turn off TPMS in the IPC. Wheels I am running don't have TPMS sensors. Clearing the BCM DTC immediately brings it back.
BMS reset procedure fails in Forscan immediately after starting.
Using the key on and engine off, high beam, brake tap procedure, I get no flashing battery in the cluster. Nothing changes.
Is the failure to reset the BMS system because of the DTC in the BCM? Any ideas?
I am willing to buy TPMS sensors and install them. Been meaning to do it, just haven't had a need to before now.
