Nope, I won’t be paying for it after the trial runs out either. This is one of those sore spots with me regarding these “pay to use” features. I was already banged 2k for the stupid Bluecruise that I didn’t even want. It works but not well and when it does stay active it doesn’t instill much confidence as it can be a bit jerky and disconnect without warning and many times for no discernible reason. The utter gall of asking customers to pay 800 bucks a year really puts Fords business practice in perspective, as well as a few other things. So I finally had a good road trip to test out BlueCruise. My thoughts...
Had a trip 750 miles round trip, most on a BC highway (i65)
Wasted half the trip because I figured out BC won't engage if you have it set above 80mph...WTH , I mean come on , is that right ?
So after I figured that out , way too many drops (grab the wheel) and checking my eyes and had to take over . Very very annoying. I had to constantly remove my sunglasses to appease the sensors, the afternoon sun glare messes with sensors...
There were stretches when it worked (rare) and it's great when it works, but was capped at 80mph
No way I'll be paying for this after trial.
