Bluecruise OTA Status?

Nope. Just a complete joke and another missed promise. They are now virtually assured to be crying wolf a 3rd time saying “it will surely be Q2-2022”. My job 1 truck is now over a year old and has 17k miles on it. Top of the line Platinum and I’m “enrolled” in the early access plan - whatever good that does.

My patience has worn completely thin now. If it wasn’t for the generator feature, I would have selected a different brand.

I'm pretty sure that was enabled by the same early access software updates that enabled BlueCruise.

I couldn't find it in the version history notes. Searched several forums and haven't heard if it's working for Job 1 trucks.

I'm not sure what the joke is. I'm pretty sure in the FDRS thread where people are applying the BlueCruise updates themselves someone confirmed the stickers for trailer were working. But since it's a 210 page thread at this point, hard to track down that one post.

Job 1 Platinum. March 5 build. Used FDRS to update all modules last week. Gave up on OTA after being in early program and getting email and then waiting (more) weeks. I can confirm trailer stickers now work with my 2021 J1. Plus Bluecruise. Fixed issues I had with autofold. Etc.

Pretty happy with it right now (after a year). And the FDRS thread really is long. But it can be done!!!

I believe Ford is liable for false advertising claims.
I expect we will see this come about soon.

Trade in values are really pretty good right now. Those other brands will probably make it pretty easy for us Ford suckers to get into the flawless GM/Fiat/Toyota trucks.

How much of your own time did it take to apply this updates yourself? Curious to see if I want to embark on that.
