This is my new '21 500A FX4 (that I've slowly been changing into my perfect truck).

So far I've:
Removed the Air Dam (It kept hanging and I didn't like it being low on the highway for dodging tires and animals)
Swapped the wiper blades for Bosch Icon 22As
Replaced the Windshield (it was cracked when I bought it, dealer installed replacement)
Installed a spray-in bedliner (dealer installed for $250)
Installed the factory garage opener visor (I tried a couple of clip on remotes from amazon, non would pair with our apartment gate)
Installed my Garmin Mini Dash Cam
Installed the AutoStop Eliminator
Disabled the Double Horn Honk and Start/Stop Prompt via ForScan
Rubber coated the base of the antenna (easier to remove for car washes)
Had the front windows tinted with Xpel Prime

Maybe that's it... seems like there's more.

It came from the factory with:
3.5L EcoBoost (not the powerboost)
2kw Pro Power Onboard
B&O (Non-Unleashed)
Power Tailgate with Work Surface
360 degree camera package
Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 (so not quite the full driving tech but more than I need)

And in the best color of all... AMB.

I've got a 500A in antimatter blue on order. It's nice to have visual confirmation that the Co-Pilot Assist 2.0 package includes front parking sensors on the 500A trim.

I am thinking about adding a homelink visor too. Would you mind telling me more about the installation? What did it cost, did the factory wiring harness have a spot to plug in the module, was the visor from a '21 f150 and did the color match your original visor?

hi!

the wiring for the homelink visor is the exact same for the standard visor; just unplug and plug. It was about $400 at my dealer but I used FordPass points to buy it.

also; I attached part of the window sticker to compare how the truck was equipped (in case you have any other questions).

Awesome, that's just what I wanted to hear! Did the trailer tow package come with a yaw sensor that attaches to the trailer tongue, or just the stickers?

Very nice looking truck!

I've been looking for info on adding the visor with garage door openers, so thanks for letting us know how easy it was! To confirm: nothing linked to Sync or anything computer controlled that has to be changed? The opener buttons just need power that is presumably already there from a light for the mirror (still waiting for my truck to get built so don't know for sure)?

I’ve always had
why the new wipers? cheers
I was driving from Houston to Austin one day and the factory blades were completely missing a section of the windshield. In the past i've used the Icons and they seem to last (albeit pricey) so that's what I went with.

No computer programming necessary. You are exactly right; uses the same power harness the factory mirror uses (a simple disconnect where you unbolt the visor from the headliner; you may need to pull the harness out a bit).

You will like those tires. I’ve put those on all my F-150s and never had any issues.

Curious why you replaced the stock wheels? Those 18s are some of the best looking stock rims they have on these new trucks

My passenger front wheel was bent and wasn’t covered under warranty. And I like shiny things.
