It’s an amazing machine. Definitely surpassed my expectations.

Yeah.. Man I would never do it if I could help. Here what I can suggest. Just ask them to hook up with FDRS and run a network scan.

You may want to invest in the cable and do it yourself. The cable is $500. You could do the RFA update and BLEM to add the phone as a key too.

I would if I had the budget. If you are able to run the network scan I can check immediately and see if that updates the ford mothership. THen you could update the gateway yourself.

Means you have a late build lighting. I didn’t look at the build date. I looked at the updates available. Saw the Rfa. Didn’t know the late builds also had an Rfa update. Guess they do now too. Trucks built later had paak from factory yours is a July build.
Your gateway still hasn’t reported a good status. Until it does nothing can be done

A gentleman from a FB group told me to unplug and plug the battery back in after waiting 10 min to see if this jump starts the reg process. I’ll do that tomorrow morning.

Also, this phone as a key thing is a bit too much. Can’t walk past the truck to take the dog out without it lighting up like a Christmas tree.

As you suspected, the battery unplug/reset did nothing.

Well, that’s a lie. It scared me half to death because the frunk wouldn’t work electrically until I manually closed it after the reset. Lol

Yeah once they run a network test let me know. Ill be able to see immediately after if it corrected it or not.

I have a Ford F150 Platinum in the shop now which they can't seem to update with the BlueCruise or other modules/updates. They have tried several times, but it won't update. Any advice on how to get this working? They said they are going to contact Ford if they can't get it complete today, but truck has now been in the shop almost a week and don't seem to be getting any further.
Help? Should I tell them to forget it and take to different dealer? Can these updates be done through home wireless? I've seen a number of people with issues and not sure what the solutions is. Want my truck back!

You can do it yourself at home. Read the FDRS thread.

Youre in Austin. If you wanna drive to Dallas I can do it for you.

Otherwise the updates arent going to jsut happen. Those are pretty much your options. The OTA updates have been a disaster. I dont have a vin to know how far or how bad your situation is to really know.

Usually best to give a vin so we can give a detailed answer of your current situation

I have been bit by this issue. Last night. I got the 3.5.2 update, now my bluecruise map expiration is just gone off of sync. Yet, my connected services say that I'm good with bluecruise til 3/28/23. If anyone wants to look my VIN is 1FTFW1ED4MFB60850
