Never mind.....I read that wrong.

Unfortunately, OTA history gets cut off on 7/31 in your case. Do you remember which OTA it was?

I believe it was something to do with the auto up down windows, but I could be wrong. Seemed unrelated? But I don’t know. Probably should have taken better notes.

Yea, a door module update won't affect that. This does seem like a hardware problem. It if was software or configuration, the codes would clearly indicate that.

@rugedraw I am having the same issue as COF150. Also drivers window won’t go up automatically anymore; I have to hold the switch. This started about 2 weeks ago, then randomly stopped for a couple of days and then came back. No accident or physical damage. I did change my tail lights to Morimoto XB about 4 months ago. I checked them first and everything was fine. Have not had time to reinstall factory lights. That’s on my to do list. I do have Forscan, but am totally new and haven’t used it yet. Also am just swamped at work right now. Could you see what codes are being displayed?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

If hardware is the problem, do you think I could clear codes then switch SODR and SODL and see if DTC switches to SODL fault? Does anyone know if that would create any additional issues? I know they need to be calibrated, but would the truck recognize them regardless?

I'll gladly check tomorrow.

I'd clear codes first and see what happens. Not sure if switching then to the other side would work. I've never tried it, but I see any harm in trying that. Not sure if they have to be calibrated to be on the right or left side either. Fortunately, I've never had any issues where I've had to mess with them myself.

Thank you! Didn’t expect an answer tonight.

In your case, it specifically says the snesor is misaligned.

Well that’s fascinating….and weird… I’ll take it all apart again and reinstall it and see if that will do it.

If it is seated correctly, do you think it could jut be a failing part?

Anyway, thanks so much for checking in this. Really appreciate it! I’ll update the thread and let y’all know what happens so maybe it can help someone in the future.

I can't tell if it's failing from what I can see. Not sure if it requires some kind of claibration procedure since I've never had to mess with one.

I was finally able to dig into my blis/cross traffic fault this afternoon. I intended to clear all related DTC’s and swap the SODR with the SODL to see if the fault followed the module, but the SODL module is not showing up in FORSCAN at all. I looked back at my pictures from the first time I messed with this in August and somehow I didn’t catch it wasn’t present then either. I can’t find any info on how to get it shown? Can anyone point me towards some info?
Thanks!

Did you do the swap? If the original SODR then shows up as SODL, and SODR disappears from a scan during connection Then the original SODL is faulty.

Before all that though, are you using a FORScan profile to connect with? If so, delete it and start from scratch with no profile.

I didn’t follow through with the swap once I realized SODL wasn’t showing up. I’ll start with a fresh profile and then do a swap and report back soon.

Maybe it needs a LIN module initialization run on it before it is recognized? Not sure if that is needed when you put one of those modules in nor if it can be done with FORScan or not.

Hopefully not; I've helped a few people on here who were adding BLIS and they seem to be fine once I've given them the VIN to put in 🤷‍♂️

Alright guys I finally had a minute to swap the working SODR module with the non communicating SODL module. The SODL module still isn’t showing up even after deleting truck profile and re connecting. I was really hoping this would pinpoint the problem but now a short is looking more likely. Anyone have another idea for troubleshooting?
