Black Exhaust Tip

There are some old posts on it.
I removed the chrome tip cover on my old 2011 and just lived without it 12 years. I put it back on when I got rid of truck. All the Ecoboost black stuff coming out of exhaust makes a chrome tip annoying. I'm seeing same thing on the 2021.

And yet they choke the diesels down so much with the DPF and emissions that the exhaust tip stays 100% clean. Their is zero black soot on my chrome tip from the baby diesel engine.
