Black Appearance Package for 2022 F-150 -- First Look

I ordered the same thing and the tracker shows a lightning as well

I am guessing that is because Ford really does not have an exact list or pics of what it will look like, at least that they are not releasing yet.

I’m surprised they haven’t update fords website yet to be able to build a 22 f150. How long do they usually wait till? Every other vehicle is already showing 2022.

I just place my order for a Platinum with BAP. I don't mind the wait because I still have a truck to use. I was going to get a lariat sport because I hate the chrome look. To me, it looks really cheap. I was hoping they would offer a package like the sport in the Platinum trim. Guess my prayers were answered lol. No chrome is a winner to me! Just my thoughts.

Not a fan of the wheels either, that dealer has a stx with the BAP in atlas blue, but the grill is different.

That’s the first one I’ve seen. Bravo for finding it.

Initial impressions: hate the wheels. The interior looks pretty plain. I was expecting more black accents and I’m undecided on the grill. I would like to see a platinum BAP but from what I could tell from stock images the only thing different for the exterior would be the tailgate appliqué. I’m surprised the exhaust tip wasn’t black.

Yeah, not a big fan. Personally, I'm kind of glad I didn't wait around for this.

Funny enough, I ordered that exact grey 4x4 box sticker for my carbonized grey off of Etsy. Those and the black emblems are about the only things off this BAP XLT I'd try to replicate over the regular Sport. But that's just my opinion

I think grills vary from trim to trim, which is some what strange.. Models with 4x4 and 3.5 EB get the dual, black exhaust tips. To flip the script, I like the wheels, and I think they'll look really good with a nice meaty set of KO2s, or Terras.. YMMV
