Hey folks, what has been seen by some of you as a fantastic tune to smooth out the 10R80 transmission? Has anyone found a nice tune that makes it seem like the transmission shifts not only better, but consistently? I have a 2022 XLT 3.5 EB

First make sure you have all the available PCM/ABS updates available from Ford since your truck was released.
Could be 2 of each, or 3. Depends on build date.

I'm not saying my 2022 Powerboost 10r80 MHT shifts as sweetly as my 2018 10r80 tuned by Matt at GearHead tuning. But it's not as far off as it was when I took delivery. And it's FAR nicer than my 2021 Powerboost was when I purchased it.

FDRS license ($50/2 days), special cable (Mongoose anywhere $250-$450 used, new more), battery tender/maintainer, fast Internet connection/hotspot to the laptop while connected to truck, usb stick.

Easy process if you have a place to park and get a power source. I did it without those. If you are in the states, you may be getting OTA updates. Some people here can check your VIN against available updates. See the thread above for more details.

The thread with the most views and responses on this entire forum covers this topic VERY extensively. See @bgalakazam posted link

I don't believe PCM updates are delivered OTA.
I'm guessing that there are reasons for that. Too bad since the PCM is the heart of the truck.

I found that turning off the Adaptive Learning definitely rounds off the sharp edges, but I can see why the TSBs still call for doing some accelerated cycling of problem solenoids. My 3-4/4-3 is still more noticeable than any other gear change, but overall it's very...normal.
