I added FX4 to my 2024 order to nix CCD, so my question now to the PB owners is what level kit do you run? I was looking at a suspension level, such as Bilstein 6112 or Eibach Pro, but I wonder if the weight of the PB restricts the lift on these kits? I presume that a spacer kit would be relatively unaffected by the weight as the preload spring should be the same as stock, just adding space to where it interfaces with the truck body. Any thoughts or suggestions?

If all you're after is looks, then a small spacer is the cheapest option. I wouldn't go any larger than 2" unless you plan on changing the upper control arm to keep geometry in check and not stress the upper uniball. I have the Fox 2.0 with Camburg upper control arm's. Brought the front up about 2" or maybe a little less. Considering switching to the newer 2.5's that Fox released so I can get some compression/rebound adjustability. If all I did was drive on pavement I would have stayed stock or possibly a spacer just for looks.

I did the 6112 / 5160 set at 2.5 and got just under 2 inches of lift/level with the extra weight; I don't know if it matters, but I have the short bed. I think the improved handling was well worth the cost:

Bilstein 6112 (front) and 5160 (rear) kit on my 2021 Powerboost shortbed, with 34 inch Maxxis Razr AT tires (LT285/65r20 ..maxxis reports them as 34.7 x 11.6 in tire).

Stock sport wheels; the front struts are set to the 2.5 inch setting:

..kit was from @Stage3Motorsports
Tires were from tires-easy.com

I went through a LOT trying to get the right look with my powerboost lol. I have the Max Tow so it had a solid 3 inches of rake (22" hub to fender front, 25" back to start) plus the extra weight. Long story but went from 21+ Fox Ford Performance to the 21+ Bilstein Ford Performance but neither really got the truck leveled without completely maxing them out and ruining the ride quality.

Ended up with the 2015-2020 Fox 2.0 Roush set. I believe my truck came w/ 595 lbs/in front coils and the prev gen Roush set had the strongest coils at 650 lbs/in (prev gen ford performance Fox 2.0's are 550). Cranked them up just a hair from factory setting and I'm sitting at about 24.5/24.75 front and 25 back now. Will prob install shackles to raise the back an inch and get a little rake back.

If I had it to do over again, I probably would have just grabbed a set of coilovers that reuse the existing coils. Either way very happy w/ where it ended up.

Either way - I'd say biggest thing is to figure out what coils you have on yours (it varies a lot based on trim, options etc.) and make sure the leveling kit you're adding is at least close. If they're 450'ish, which a lot of the 21+ gen coilover sets are, you're not going to get nearly the lift you want.

Have you noticed significant change in MPG with the level? I’d love to get a level but don’t want to sacrifice much mileage.

IIRC I didn't get a big change with just the level, but did lose a few MPG when I went to 68lb 34.5 in tall tires.. I get more boost and less electric with the bigger heavier tires

Going to tag on to this thread in hopes of a simple answer.

I have a ‘24 PB that (hopefully) will be arriving in May. I have run Bilstein 5100s in the past, but this time am really looking to maintain the factory ride for a while. I’ll upgrade to a 275/65/20 tire but nothing larger than that and no aftermarket wheels or wheel spacers.

That being said, I’m planning to get a 2” spacer. I don’t mind a little rake, so 2” should be fine for height.

But despite searching threads on here for hours, I can’t find the answer to my question.

2” aluminum spacers can be purchased for $100 (https://www.roughcountry.com/produc...utm_content=&utm_term=||m||fit_first_569RED-b)

or also purchased for $230

(https://www.stage3motorsports.com/66-2120-21-22-f150-readylift-2-front-leveling-kit.html) with the adjustable cam plates.

Is the cam plate adjustment worth the increased price? Or will the standard aluminum spacer be just fine? Are there any concerns running aluminum spacers on a steel frame?

I have no problem spending the extra if it’s worth it, but I can’t find any evidence in either direction.

If you will be running CCD, I would go with the ReadyLift. They state that their spacers are designed to work with CCD. Rough Country specifically states that theirs does not fit models with CCD:

No CCD for me, but good point, I hadn’t noticed that on the RC one.

2024 F150 Powerboost Crew Cab 6.5’ bed
2024 Powerboost CC 6.5’ bed

- 2” Readylift level
- LT276/65R20 Bridgestone Dueler Ascent AT (53 lbs - nice and light for a load range E tire) inflated to 50 psi.

Ended up with a 3/4” leftover rake up front (started with 3”).

Ride is mint. I’ve always put load range E’s on, they ride so much nicer, but the secret is to do one of the lighter E’s. They range from 52 lbs to 68 in this tire size. These tires are incredibly quiet but labeled as an “On-Road All Terrain”.

MPG: was getting 24-26 with factory tires, now it’s about 22 but with only 500 miles, the engine is still breaking in. I drive conservatively.
I’ve attached before and after pics

Can one run a spacer ( say 2.5) and then put fox shocks as example to help with the dampening ? Sorry for the dumb question
