i have a 2024 F150 PB. Just looking to get opinions on a bed rack and tonneau cover setup. I don't want a large bed rack. Something low profile and still able to open close a bed cover and get access to the bed.

I'm currently looking at the 5" billie bars and a retractable or rollup bed cover. For the billie bars theres a T slot setup and a non T slot setup. Does anyone have experience with either and if the T slot billie bar and tonneau cover is not as durable as the non T slot setup.

Just curious and looking for opinions here before i drop some money on this.

Retrax Pro XR (the XR means T-slot tracks), plus Rhino Rack. Gives us a low profile solution for carrying bikes (we ride a tandem) while allowing full access to the bed.
It is true that the canister for the Retrac takes up a little bed space, but I have the standard 6.5’ bed and so far have not missed the lost bed space.
For mounting the Rhino Rack, the picture shows a spacer being used; this raises the rack up about a half inch or so which gives clearance for the tonneau cover “handle” to slip neatly under the rack.

Always have had the Truck Covers USA roll cover. It has Yakima HD rails, I went with skyline towers for bike and ski racks.

We still have a truck running a truck covers USA cover that’s 15yrs old and works and looks like new, and their support has been fantastic

Bought my BAK Revolver and Adaracs in '23. Still super happy with both.

This is exactly what I'm looking for. When you bought the Rhino Racks, it looks like they come with tracks. I assume you just don't use those tracks and you only use the T slots from the Retrax PRO XR?

Where do you live? Houses and scenery looks awesome there.

I bought mine from Rack Attack. It came as a kit consisting of:
-Vortex Aero Bars (x2)
-RLT600 Legs (x4).

I added to that:
- Vortex spacers (x4) which raises the bar a bit to allow the tonneau cover handle to pass more easily underneath the crossbar.
- Locking end caps for the Vortex bars.

The RLT600 legs are designed to slide into any standard T-slot, like the one found on the Retrax Pro XR, no track is necessary. Rhino Rack also sells the same setup that includes tracks, which is what the link you from RealTruck shows. Note that the RealTrack site says you can order it without the tracks.

I found RackAttack to be extremely helpful. I wanted the Vortex locking end caps to be keyed the same as the locking cover plate that comes with the RLT600 towers (one less key to carry around) - they went out of their way to find me a set of end caps that matched keys. I suspect RealTruck would be just as helpful.

For what it's worth, if you prefer hard folding there is now a Bak MX4 "TS" which includes T-slot rails. Obviously you will have to use a rack assembly that is "high enough" to allow the panels to fold, but it's a neat setup.

It's also not compatible with previous MX4s meaning you have to replace everything, not just the rails.
