Looking for advise on the best AT for snow. Want larger on stock rims with level. Need a good all year tire that also performs in deep snow.

Toyo AT3 I had in 22s.
They are winter rated but not as good as a dedicated winter tire.

I found them to be decent. Had good bite in heavy snow.

ALL-TERRAIN T/A® KO2 I have them on my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee that I am currently driving and plan on putting them on my truck.

They now have 50,000-mile warranty and are snow rated with the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol. In some areas that require you to chain up on mountain passes, if you have the three-peak mountain symbol, you do not need to chain up. That alone sold me. They are also a lot quieter than I thought they would be compared to other snow tires. I did have studs on the rear tires of my previous two-wheel drive Ford Ranger. That was a good alternative when you don't have 4WD. In Ohio, you can not run studs past March 15th; they are noisy on dry payment too.

I just went through this same thing. Looking for 3 peak rated AT's. I really wanted Nokian Outpost AT's or Wildpeak AT3W's. Due to supply issues ended up going with 35x11.5r20 Toyo AT3's & a 2" ready lift level. Just got them yesterday so no real world experience yet.

I've had General Grabber ATX, Falken Wilpeak AT3W and Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. All were very good in winter conditions. First two I had on plow trucks and never got stuck once with them. Coopers I had on my last 150 and worked well in winter. Put Toyo Open Country AT3 on my new 150 and hoping they perform as well as the others. Plenty of options out there

I've never been impressed with AT's in the snow. The more "cool" they look, the worse in snow generally.

Ive been through most makes of AT's here in NE Ohio.

The two best I have had in the snow are the Cooper Discover AT3 4s and the Falken Wildpeaks.

No other have come close to these.

I have Generals on now that came on the truck. Happy with them so far, but have not had them in snow yet.

Check the tire store websites and the manufacturers' websites as they will provide a rating for snow and also for wet pavement as traction on both is important.

The foctory Hankook DynaPro AT2 tires are considered to be excellent for snow. An alternative would be the BF Goodrich T/A KO2 ties that are "severe snow service rated".

Factory tires need 35 PSI which is not a problem. My last 2500 pickup had Load Range E tires and other than a tire store I needed to get the 80 PSI from a Viair compressor I bought. With a D range tire 65 PSI is needed and that may be more doable at a gas station.

Never put 80 psi in a E rated tire on a half ton truck. That is for the max load rating to be acheived in a 3/4 or 1 ton.

I got my fingers crossed for Toyo at3’s! I’m in northeast Ohio and these seem popular with good reviews. Had cooper, bfg trail and Goodyear wrangler with Kevlar all on my last truck and hated all of them.

So you would recommend running Load Range E tires at 35 PSI on a F-150? Not a good idea.
