Bench seat under seat storage lock

Is the under seat storage a keyed lock or is it just a slot? Id like to replace a folding work station with the regular arm rest bench and do it as a whole unit.

If I have to split the back/arm rest from the seat bottom I'm assuming I can.

Yes it’s keyed. You can swap the whole bottom over easy enough, will need to remove side trim panels and there’s 2 T50 bolts holding it on.
