BAK Revolver X4s Cover Install

Has anyone else seen this before? All of the install pics/references I have found show that the edge of the cover appears to be flush with the rails at the tailgate. Seems like these might be a little long?

Ya, I took a sawza to the left rear corner to make it flush. Not sure if there is a QC problem with the left rear corner in mfg.

That looks like the opposite problem, maybe (cover extending a bit further than the rails). Maybe the QC is off in manufacturing.

Mine looks even on both sides (consistently longer than the cover).

Ah I misunderstood what you were pointing out. I eyeballed the straight portion of the trim piece to end at the rail, with the radius extending past. The perspective is a bit off in this picture, but if I remember right I also still have some adjustability.

Mine looks even on both sides (consistently longer than the cover).

Mine on the left rear side looked liked this as well. Right side was perfect.

Yeah, that looks like what I am expecting. Is yours lined up like this, too (blue arrow)?

I'm getting 67 11/32" on the rail length measurement.

Do you have a liner? If it's spray-in, did you remove the pads on the front of the rails where it meets the front of the bed? They aren't very thick, so it won't pull it in enough to eat up all of the length but it might take it in a little.

Lined up at the front and exact same length on both sides, 67 11/32. I do have a fairly thick Line X, it caused problems with my Builtright bulkhead rail, but I left on the tonneau rail pads (assuming the picture is what you're talking about).

This might be the difference, my cover length is right at 67 15/32. I'm sure there's a few 32nd tolerance/adjustment there as I eyeballed it when installing.

I missed the additional pics in the previous post somehow, but thank you - very helpful for reference. I went out earlier and attempted to reinstall it to see if I missed anything, but didn't notice anything different. The difference in symmetry will stand out to me.

Here's some additional pics. Looks like there might be some difference in the cover lengths.
