Does anyone know how many credits are being offered for 360 camera and adaptive CC removal? I was told that is what is being sacrificed on my build

If you do not get a response go to the "Build Weeks" threads and find a similar truck that has just been built. Look that that guys window sticker and that should show you the credit for the delete. Good luck.

You always have the option of renogiating the price or getting freebies added or just walking away from the deal. Most people are not willing to walk away and the dealers know and take advantage of that.

Letting the salesperson know that you are not happy and willing to leave the deal on the table is important to getting the best possible price. The salesperson is often as invested in making the sale and not losing it but you need to play them (and if you bring a friend or spouse they need to go along as well).

That's in normal times. My dealership gets giddy when an order is backed out. They make more money. The manager I have been dealing with got excited on a number of occasions when he had a Limited, an F-250, and a Bronco that customers backed out on. He said he slapped on a markup and made bank. He's in a win/win situation with me not negotiating; I pay the higher price, he wins; I walk he wins.

I am newer to this forum, and have to say I am VERY impressed at how y'all conduct yourselves compared to some other forums. When I first read the title and OP I cringed. So pleasantly surprised at the balanced and thoughtful answers. I very much expected it to go anther way. Great job folks (y)

I DANG Sure feel like I got the raw end of a deal. I was #2 at my dealer for the Lightning Pro and they were all gone in the first wave, no Lightning for me, no sale for Ford. Why say you can have a Lightning for $39,974 when in reality you truly can’t.

Wouldn't it be a bait and switch if you put an order in, sign off on it, then months later find out there removing features?
Ford definitely made some changes to the Lightning after I completed my order too.

For example, at the time that I ordered my Lightning, the web images for the XLT with the $9600 312A upgrade trim that showed a power window rear window, that definitely aren't included. The descriptions also said the upgrade included a power tailgate with "Signature Lighting", which is the LED light bar.

In fact, my order page STILL mentions the Signature Lighting is included, but they're definitely not included.

I love the look of the light bar, but I'm more upset about the rear sliding window. That little rear window is pretty useful for cutting down the noise and ear pressure when you open the other windows while driving.

My experience with ordering a Lariat 502a, trailer tow, 36 gal tank, and CCD. Was it showed up at the dealer with out 36 gal tank and with out auto start stop. I was pissed. I needed/wanted the truck. FoMoCo blames the dealer and dealer blames FoMoCo.
Sales manager said he gave me Fords unhappy customer discount

I have a feeling dealers do these shanigans hoping I would pass on the "mistake" and they could take another order. Or sell the truck for more than they agreed to sell to me for.

First time ordering a vehicle and first new vehicle in 30 years. Truck is great. buying experience not so great.

Do not recommend Corwin Auto Group.

I am in same boat. Also, they showed Memory for drivers 8-way seat for standard XLT Lightning in the Build & Price pages details when I ordered, so I assumed 10-way seats of 312A package would have them as well. But I am not seeing Memory for seats in any XLT builds showing up on Youtube. Ford will have a difficult time having me order another vehicle from them, especially with all the problems cropping up in so few builds so far (motor/battery total fail, frunk fails, Mach-e fails, etc.). Farley needs to clean house and demand better personnel to avoid Ford Quality is Problem #1 reputation that Wall Street Journal hit them with.

The rear signature light bar, I might substitute with one of those LED light bars just under the tailgate. Not sure the reverse lighting is better horizontal up in the middle vs. the two vertical lights on either side of the tailgate?

I think this topic is in the Lightning forum under the thread that has the spreadsheet of features that was made early in the order process by a member.

I ended up getting the 312A option specifically for the comfort of my passengers who currently complain about how hard it is adjusting the seats in my Mach-E vs my last F-150.

I also wanted any potential upgraded safety features, so I think I needed the upgrade for Adaptive Cruise Control and some of the lane keeping features.

I didn't want or need the expensive 9.6 Kw of power... I just couldn't find another way to ensure my passenger would have power seats... and I also assumed based on the pictures that was the only way to get the rear window and signature light bar.

I originally contacted them a while back to tell them about the misleading photos and information on the website. They apologized and said it was a mistake. The website photos were wrong for quite some time and only changed recently.

My order description still mentions the Signature LED Bar, but they've also confirmed that its a mistake too.

On the plus side, we get the physical buttons for climate controls and the 12" screen. I also prefer cloth seats. My Mach-E has leather and the bigger screen with no climate control buttons. I must say it gets a lot of comments, but I'd rather the smaller screen and real buttons and knobs.
