System sounds pretty good and I realize the speakers / amp / sub can be upgraded. I'm putting $ towards wheel well liners, tires, etc. Settings are limited, but I'm sure one of you has much more audio knowledge than me. Surround or stereo? Bass, mid, treble levels? Post a pic of your settings / explain why and I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

I use stereo as that is my source and don't want the upmixer. I also turned bass 2-3 up. I love the B&O 8speaker system, even though it gets a lot of hate here and the other forum.

I prefer the surround sound. Bass 3/4, treble almost all the way up, mid range I leave in the middle. It’s all personal preference.

Surround, bass and treble up to your preference, move fader back (towards bed) 2 clicks or until you find your sweet spot. Moving the fader makes the front center speaker a little quieter and boosts the sound from all the other speakers.

If you have no intention of upgrading the door speakers there's a easy trick you can do to improve mid-bass. Get some sound deadening mat and pull the door cards and speakers out. Apply a sheet of sound mat to the inside of the doors behind each of the speakers. Then use Tessa tape or speaker foam seal between the speaker mount and doors when remounting. Also use the roller press from the sound mat and work around the plastic weather shield on each door where the sealant is. Mine was barely affixed to the doors.

The sound mat will significantly cut down on reflective frequencies in on the back side of the speakers. The speaker foam will create a better seal for the speakers to the doors as well as eliminate possible rattles. Lastly making sure the plastic weather shield is properly sealed will not only prevent possible water leaks but also improve sound a little bit. All this should make a noteworthy improvement in the mid-bass from the doors.

Another thing is adjust the fader to the center point is over the cup holders on the display and the horizontal line is equal to the front of the seat backs. This shifts the sound stage just a little rearward and cuts the power to the fronts just a little so they are not so overpowering.

"Easy" he says...

But seriously, this is good info for those willing to tackle it.

The door cards on the F150 are by far the easiest to remove I have ever seen. A 7 mm socket, small regular screwdriver, and basic auto trim pry tool and the door card is off in about a minute. Plus you can also fix the known rattle in the front door while you're at it.
