Searched on this and can’t find much relating to the 2022 F150. I know on my Raptor I was able to buy a flash program and enable the window functions from the key fob but not on the newer truck.
Had a weird incident yesterday where we were sitting in the truck with the engine running and the passenger side window auto rolled down…..3 times. No clue as to how or why. I though perhaps the key fob in my pocket was pinched maybe pressing one of the buttons but I haven’t been able to recreate the event.
Has anyone else had their truck roll down the windows for no reason?

Yes, happened to me also. I looked it up on YouTube however the digital manual in the screen has it also. Search window or power window I think then look for reset power windows in the manual I believe.

You have to hold the window button up for 10 seconds with the window in the up position. I worked on this back in January so I forgot how long but that is the process to reset your window.

Gotcha. I think they call it “bounce back” or something like that? I’m not convinced that’s what occurred but what the hell do I know. I haven’t done that recalibration method, and it hasn’t happened again so I dunno what to think. Was really weird tho. Thanks for the reply bro

Side note…on my 16 ford fusion when you unlocked the car with the fob and held the unlock button down, it would roll down all the windows. I miss that function. Anyone know something I don’t?

Yeah funny you mention that. I’ve been researching that for my Tremor and can’t find anything for the 2022s. My Raptor was a 2020 and I bought a plug in flash that programmed that featured but I can’t seem to find a vendor that has something available yet for the 22 F150

That’s cool for the techy folks but I don’t wanna get that deep into what makes the truck tick. All that tinkering around in the hands of someone who has no clue what they’re doing is a recipe for disaster. I just wanna roll the windows down with my key fob and hoping they come out with another flash programmer for the ODB port.

Something people may want to consider, I had a 2016 Mustang with the roll down feature (I think you had to press unlock twice or three times then hold the button down). One day I am leaving work and when I get to the car the windows are all open. I know I didn't leave them open or use the remote open feature.

Somehow the remote got pressed in my pocket in the correct sequence to roll down the windows. Luckily I left work and found this about 20 minutes before a big thunder storm came through, otherwise the car interior would have been flooded.

I disabled the feature after that. To me the benefit of being able to open the windows using the remote wasn't worth the risk of it happening on it's own by mistake.
