I'm about to order a powerboost and it requires the "auto start-stop removal" option on the spec sheet. Can someone who has one with the removal on the window sticker confirm if this affects hybrid operations at all? It doesn't make any sense, but why require the line item if it doesn't. Thanks.

I noticed the same option listed on my build/spec sheet last week and just ignored it. It doesn’t really apply to powerboost.

For some reason their system seems to require it on the powerboosts. It makes no difference in operation.

A Hybrid is the poster child of Start/Stop
You can say it is removed, but it's built in.

It's likely deleting the stop/start components needed on the non-hybrids.

My sticker said the auto stop/start was deleted so I guess I don't have to push a button like I did on the 2018 EcoBoost 3.5.. being a hybrid, my 2021 does the auto start stop on its own as needed. the only time I notice is from a stop where engine is off. I have yet to start slow enough to stay on battery from a stop. I am often surprised when I look at tach and see engine is off while on city streets. have not seen engine off at highway speeds yet.

There's no autostop/start button on the Hybrid because it IS an autostop/start truck by its very design. Hard to disable a Hybrid from being a Hybrid. :)

Although in Sport mode if you can stay very light on the brakes at a stop, you can keep the ICE running. So technically you are disabling Stop/Start if you choose to look at it that way.
