Auto-Dim Mirrors Turning Blue

Used my Powerboost as a generator all day, hot, 90* ambient. Light load, minimum cycling.

Got back in at the end of the day, and both my rear view and driver side view appear to be “burned”, like the auto-dimming is frozen in place.
Anyone seen this?

Update:
Seems to self-resolve overnight, both mirrors were fully fixed in the AM. Came back today after a full day as a generator in the sun/heat again. This time i cracked windows, used sunshade to protect rearview, folded mirrors and put a t-shirt over the folded mirrors. Same issue after a full day, but resolved after a 40 minute drive once the sun intensity wore off.
