JacobH, the EQ on the iPhone only works for the sound being played through the Music app. That means it won't affect audio for your phone calls, Podcasts, Audiobooks, and other third-party apps such as YouTube, Spotify, etc.

Ask your dealership for a copy of the demo music that the salestaff SHOULD have received from B&O back when the 2021 F150 was fixing to be released. It was an effort to educate and excite the salestaff.

They were furnished on USB sticks and if just ONE of the salesmen is actually an F150 enthusiasts, they have theirs and can simply copy the files over on another stick.

It opens with a narrator who describes the system and instructs you to place the tone controls flat and the volume to 15 and "Stereo"

Sure, it's cheating. Even the narrator's voice is perfectly produced for the F150 system. Regardless, it's a very good way to hear just how good the system can actually sound if the source material is optimized.

Note: In my Platinum Powerboost without unleashed, I was impressed. In my new KingRanch Powerboost WITH Unleashed, the demo definitely reveals the upgrade. If only it was easy to listen to source material that perfectly optimized you would even be happy with the bass. Nice and rich and crisp.

Go get the files. It's fun. And by the way, there's a second version of 5 more songs so if you can get all 10 or so, you'll have something for everyone who takes a ride in the truck.

Yes Apple Music is better. I switched after a recommendation from this forum (3/4 years Spotify Vet here). The lossless does make a difference albeit not a drastic one. You can use the app SongShift for seamless transfer from one source to another.

Oh wow so I can just transfer all my saved/liked songs from Spotify to apple music? That's pretty sweet ill have to check it out once I test apple music and see if its better suited for me. Thanks!

I have actually used that track in my truck back last July when I got it. It sounded amazing and I just used Spotify to play it so I never had any doubts about the sound system. But its good to note that track for others who have not heard it, its really a unique experience even for much higher end systems.

Note that there will be songs from 2 different releases, so your truck will not index them in the correct order. I think the 5th song is the actual demo narrator.

I'm 64 and listen mostly to country, but that Bruno Mars song is the one that shows off the dynamic range the best to my ears.
