Everything was grounded before I hooked the battery back up. I was asking if the silver stereo control box is grounded using the bolts. I dont think it is, but I was just brainstorming. Im thinking I must have ripped a wire runming the power cable. I need to figure out how to get in there without removing the whole dash.
Audiocontrol module is grounded through the harness, not the bolts

Thank you for those links and your pictures. I'm contemplating attempting to fix it myself like in the first link since the dealership cant get me in for another 2 weeks.
Im going to attempt to fix it myself once I get some free time, but may take it to dealership if pulling the fuse box becomes too much of a hassle. I got some advice from the person who pulled the fuse box to repair it themselves and removing it involves removing the inner tray to access the clips that hold the box down, its really far more aggravating then it should be to remove a part. I've also considered removing the blower assembly under the glove box to get a couple inches of access to the harness but I'm afraid ill just be opening another can of worms. The fuse block is likely your best point of access.

Unfortunately the dealership i bought from I really dont trust and I assume that since I caused the damage having them fix it will cost an arm and a leg. My experience coming from Dodge is that they will require the entire harness be replaced. I havent dealt with a dealership yet that will patch work a fix on a vehicle under bumper to bumper coverage, its always replace the entire part, and if its caused by the owner charge them every bit that you can.

My dealership wont replace the harness unless thats the absolute only choice. I had an Edge St that had a mouse chew through the harness and they repaired it, so I'm hopeful if I point out what I believe is the issue, maybe I can save them some time and save myself some money. But I am contemplating trying to fix it myself since they cant get me in for almost 1 weeks.

Went through the hassle of pulling the fuse box out, couldn't find any damaged wired. Put it back together, except now I cant get the top part of the fuse box to seat properly with the bottom if you have any ideas on that one.

But anyways, its been bugging me and every diagram I find online for the kick panel fuse box doesnt look like mine. So I finally used the digital owmers manual and searched for fuses. Turns out that the ACM has its own fuse separate from the stereo/amp fuse. And voila! That was the issue. The 20 amp fuse in fuse location #70, was blown. I replaced it, and I now have audio. Wish I had thought to check the manual 2 weeks ago, I'm an idiot.

Here is a picture of the fuse in case anyone else has this issue and cant find a broken wire.

Glad to hear that it was ultimately an easy and inexpensive fix!
