Are the Heat Exchanger and Resonator 1 Single Part?

Kinda starting to suspect that I've got a rattle in my resonator. When cold and powerboost fires up and around 1800rpm I get a very metallic sounding rattle from the area below the rear passenger door.

I've seen folks putting in a delete tube but I suspect this is not an option with the powerboost as the heat exchanger and resonator come as one part.

Do I have this correct that if either the heat exchanger or the resonator need to be replaced that the entire thing comes out at 1 single unit / part number?

It's a single part. That's why doing a resonator delete isn't easy because then you have to figure out what to do with the coolant lines and wires for the exchanger.

Yeah ok shoot. Thought I had that correct. Sounds so.

Bit surprised it is one giant part.

Post #20 has a diagram of the part. The resonator itself isn't a small part. When I did a resonator delete on my 2011 the whole assembly was about 2.5ft long. It looks like the 14th gen exhaust is pretty similar in construction.

Yeah its crazy to me that there isn't a separation between the resonator and the heat exchanger. You'd think the 2 pieces would be easily separable to that a replacement resonator or heat exchanger wouldn't require replacing everything as 1 unit.

One part number and that's why I didn't do the resonator delete, just in case of warranty replacement.
