Arbitrary Changes to Settings

Why does my truck experience arbitrary setting changes when there is no OTA? For example, my alarm motion detection setting is set to "Ask on Exiting," but at some arbitrary point in time it is turned off without my initiating the change. This has happened twice over the last seven days and I did not received any OTA updates. It's been doing this for over a year.

Are you also getting phantom OTA?

Some have reported similar to what you are experiencing with settings resetting frequently but I don't think a cause has ever been determined.

If it is already resetting stuff doing a full system factory reset can't hurt. Not saying that will fix it, but can't be any worse. It has fixed weird issues for some on here.

The only setting that I have to reset is rear seat occupancy. When you disable this it will tell you that it only stays disabled for six months. Not a bug for it to reset to default.
