Picked up the truck today. Jones Ford in Shallot NC were outstanding. Little to no rust and the dealership was outstanding. I would recommend anyone looking for a Ford to give them a call…
Congrats, info on order date, blend date, etc.

it really just seems like it's luck of the draw when your truck is picked to exit ramp 59 purgatory. There's a whole mess of 4/26 build week people still waiting on trucks. It took bad luck to get stuck in ramp 59 and it's gonna take good luck to get out of ramp 59 "early" i.e. not 10/31

I hear ya. It’s frustrating as hell. Monitoring the trucks movement last week I’ve been seeing some progress in the 4/30, 4/29 & 4/28 trucks. I’m 4/27 & I’m seeing no movement. I’m not convinced the blend date is that strong of an indicator. It’s just frustrating

I'm 4/29 and I've seen trucks built before and after mine come and go. There's no rhyme or reason. I can only assume it's the order your truck was parked in the lot, maybe at the end of a row or at the beginning. Because there has also been a lot of movement from the mid March builds as well

The thing I'm dealing with is my 2018 Lariat trade in has also increased 10K in value since my order but my dealer refuses to discuss it. I've bought 7 vehicles from him over the years! If I walk away, he could care less because he doesn't have a 2021 F150 on the lot. Not much bargaining power! My truck is slated for a 7-24 delivery date. I would truly like to own it, but between the depreciation of a truck that isn't even here yet, and a 10k increase in value of my trade, I'm thinking I'd like to get kissed when I get screwed.
It's not unusual right now for the dealer to hold off on giving you a trade value, mine is doing the same. His explanation makes sense to me. My truck is scheduled for delivery 7/23. The trade in prices are changing so fast right now he said they will only honor a trade in price for 7 days. The way prices are right now, chances are I'll get a higher trade in waiting till the new truck is here.

I took mine and sold it to CARMAX. I sold a 2016 that I paid $36k for, for $37.4 yesterday. Couldn't pass that up and hope the bubble stayed until my new one arrived.

If it is worth 10k more now, get CARMAX to buy it. I would find something to rent and drive at that increase in value. I just sold mine b/c my 2016 I was able to sell for $37.4k and I only paid $36k new.

Used prices are still going up, the longer I wait the more I'll probably get. A trade in in Colorado also deducts the amount of sales tax I'll pay on the new one. A trade in is a big advantage instead of just selling to Carmax ect. If I trade at what KBB says is avg. trade in for my 2015 Platinum, I'll get a $3200.00 sales tax advantage on the new one. While I would like to know right now what they will pay me on trade in for planning purposes, it doesn't bother me to wait if it means getting even more $$$$$.

Yeah my dealer was offering 6K less than carmax paid so even the tax thing didn't get me close to what I got. I think once the trucks start showing up in mass quantities, the used car market will crash. I am happy though b/c when this all started my truck booked at $30k private sale and even with tax break for trade that would have been under $31.5 so I feel I did good. Now I just hope the one truck I am waiting on didn't get flooded on top of the original chip wait lol.

It's the opposite for me. KBB offered 33K cash but says trade is 33K-37K with 35.2 as average. Carmax offered 32K a month ago but now says they want to see it before they make an offer. Two local dealers have told me they will beat KBB's offer but aren't the dealer I bought from. A trade to my dealer of 35K plus the trade tax advantage would equal about 38.5K. I paid 40K for the truck 3 years ago. So as you can see it's well worth it for me to wait and see what my dealers offer is. It would be about 5K difference if they just give me KBB's average. I expect my truck to be at the dealer within the next two weeks.

Ford production impacted
The Dearborn Truck Plant, which builds the bestselling Ford F-150, was down on Saturday as a result of extreme flooding in the area, Kelli Felker, Ford global manufacturing and labor communications manager, told the Free Press. "They are still shipping but employees had trouble getting in due to the flooded area."
