Oh that explains it.Looks like he works at a Ford dealership, too. I'm going with that he's seen it in their demo Lightning and going for internet points.

I have looked more into this and I found another avenue. So Ill try again tomorrow. I thought the door was closed. This is actually what I worked on today. As soona s I saw it I started on it last night.. So tomorrow Ill jump on it again with this fresh start and see where it gets me and Ill let you guys know.
That being said Ford could still release this as an update for early trucks. We will have to wait and see. I just don't think anyone has this update other than the lightnings.
Are you saying our older trucks can’t handle it? Or just that the proper APIM version hasn’t been pushed to enable it? From what I’ve read it’s Power Up 3.2 that seems to enable it and we are on 2.8.3 if I remember right.I looked at it. It could be done but not by just anyone. I’d like to see the tremor actually with it working and the about page. Because from what I’ve seen as of now it won’t run on any apim that is older hardware only the newer hardware part number.
I never say never but I doubt it
The issue is they assign a part number in the manifest. As of now the only truck that has gotten the update is a lightning. The part number for every lightning I have seen is a later part number than what we have. Not only what 21 has but early 22 has. As of 22082 I can only find unit that are the new part number with it installed. Are you saying our older trucks can’t handle it? Or just that the proper APIM version hasn’t been pushed to enable it? The 22 f150 XLT 301A hasn’t had any sync 4A OTA updates either. Id like to be able to see the rear camera view of my open trailer when moving.Us 22 super duty owners have never gotten a single sync 4 update if it makes you all feel any better?
Ha! And I thought I was the only one who thought that!Yes. I need one more row of fisher-price looking gigantic icons, ASAP!!![]()
That’s good. Because the guys that did get OTAs for trucks fully updated.. it downgraded them.My 2021 Lariet has not received an update since I manually pushed the final BC release in April. I'm hopeful they will push this out to everyone. I use Android auto everyday and would love the option to expand full screen like many others, it's honestly the one thing I don't like about my truck. I wonder if the delays in updates has something to do with them breaking thousands of vehicles?
So they were fully updated with blue cruise on the latest release and an OTA just downgraded them and took features away? That’s good. Because the guys that did get OTAs for trucks fully updated.. it downgraded them.
Ford is learning what it's like to be a 119-year-old software startup lolAs a person who is in charge of delivery for software applications, I boggles my mind that Ford has had what appears to be so little software updates. or maybe it's just they've only done the older trucks to get them up to date, or focused on more halo-esque products like the lightning.
I'm not sure I've had 1 update besides map and BC updates.
